The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
West Central Baca County in southeastern Colorado...
East Central Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado...
* Until 1000 PM MDT.
* At 659 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in Eastern Las Animas and western Baca Counties along
and north of highway 160. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
