The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Moffat County in northwestern Colorado...
  West Central Routt County in northwestern Colorado...

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 722 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 
  0.9 to 1.2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Southeastern Moffat and West Central Routt 
  Counties

Expect debris or mudslides over County Road 29 southwest of Hamilton.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Second Creek, Waddle Creek, Willow Creek and Williams Fork.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
