The National Weather Service in Wilmington has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Ohio County in southeastern Indiana...
  Western Switzerland County in southeastern Indiana...
  Carroll County in northern Kentucky...

* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 801 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain 
  across the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have 
  fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 inches in 1 hour. 
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Carrollton, Vevay, Pleasant, Fairview, Ghent, Worthville, 
  Prestonville, Braytown, Mount Sterling, Easterday, General Butler 
  State Park, Moorefield, Interstate 71 at State Route 227, 
  Langstaff, Jacksonville, English, Interstate 71 at Mile Marker 52, 
  Eagle Station, Avonburg and Interstate 71 at Mile Marker 40.

Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away.
