The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Gibson County in southwestern Indiana...
  Pike County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 715 PM CDT /815 PM EDT/.

* At 310 PM CDT /410 PM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Rainfall rates up to 
  1 inch in 20 minutes are occurring. This rain is falling on 
  saturated soils from 3 to 5 inches of rain that occurred earlier 
  today. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in 
  the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Princeton, Oakland City, Petersburg, Winslow, Patoka, Francisco, 
  Somerville, Hazleton, Spurgeon and Mackey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
