The National Weather Service in Paducah has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Christian County in south central Kentucky...
  Southern Muhlenberg County in south central Kentucky...
  Todd County in south central Kentucky...
  Trigg County in western Kentucky...

* Until 1000 AM CDT Sunday.

* At 934 PM CDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain in Flash 
  flooding continues with light to moderate rain continuing. Between 
  8 and 13 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts 
  of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding 
  is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hopkinsville, Oak Grove, Cadiz, Elkton, Fort Campbell, Energy Lake 
  Campground, Wranglers Campground, Woodlands Nature Station, Land 
  Between The Lakes Area, Golden Pond Visitors Center, Turkey Bay, 
  Clarksville, Guthrie, Pembroke, Crofton, Weir, Canton, Dunmor, 
  Rockcastle and Trenton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
