The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Berrien County in southwestern Michigan...

* Until 200 AM EDT.

* At 1102 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Very heavy rainfall is 
  occurring with additional heavy rainfall ahead. Between 1.5 and 
  2.5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 
  1.5 inches in 30 minutes. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 3 
  inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing 
  or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Benton Harbor, St. Joseph, Benton Heights, Fair Plain, Coloma, 
  Stevensville, Riverside, Shoreham and Millburg.

This includes the following highways...
	Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 19 and 38.
	Interstate 196 between mile markers 0 and 3.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
