* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Western Baraga County in north central upper Michigan...
  Southwestern Houghton County in western upper Michigan...
  Eastern Ontonagon County in western upper Michigan...

* Until 500 AM EDT.

* At 1256 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
  expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, roadways and other poor drainage and low-lying
           areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Baraga, L'anse, Ontonagon, Covington, Rockland, Nisula, Mass City, 
  Kenton, Sidnaw, Alberta, Keweenaw Bay, Greenland, Bob Lake, 
  Alston, Echo Lake, Winona, Twin Lakes, Prickett Dam, Donken and 
  Pelkie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
