The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Cascade County in central Montana...
  South Central Teton County in north central Montana...
  Central Lewis and Clark County in west central Montana...

* Until 900 PM MDT.

* At 602 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  1 and 3 inches of rain has already fallen. Additional 
  thunderstorms moving in across the area are expected to produce 
  rainfall rates of between 0.75 to 1.5 inches in the next 1 hour. 
  Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of Northwestern Cascade, South Central Teton 
  and Central Lewis and Clark Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
