The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Treasure County in southeastern Montana...

* Until 1130 AM MDT.

* At 823 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain south of Bighorn along Tullock Creek. Between 1 and 2 
  inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 
  1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding may be 
  ongoing or begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small streams and rural roads, as
           well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  mainly rural areas of South Central Treasure County

Streams that may be impacted by flash flooding include Tullock 
Creek, West Burnt Creek and West Lightning Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles. Do not drive on or attempt to cross 
flooded roads, find an alternate route. Roads and driveways may be 
damaged or washed out in places.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency officials and 
request they pass the information to the National Weather Service in 
Billings.
