The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southern Ward County in north central North Dakota...
  Northwest McLean County in south central North Dakota...
  Southeast Mountrail County in northwestern North Dakota...

* Until 515 AM CDT Friday.

* At 1113 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  torrential rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain
  has already fallen in parts of the warned area. Storms were slow
  moving and more storms will be moving in later.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Garrison, Makoti, Ryder, Rice Lake, Douglas, Roseglen, Fort
  Stevenson State Park, White Shield, Deep Water Creek Recreation
  Area, Raub and Emmet.

Three more inches of rain will fall in parts of the warned area 
tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.
