* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northern Cuming County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Southeastern Madison County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Central Stanton County in northeastern Nebraska...
  West Central Thurston County in northeastern Nebraska...
  Southeastern Wayne County in northeastern Nebraska...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 
  have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 
  hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in 
  the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Wisner, Pender, Beemer, The Highway 15 And 32 Junction, The 
  Highway 9 And 51 Junction, The Highway 57 and 32 Junction and 
  Omaha Reservation.

There is especially concern along Highway 15 south of Pilger. This 
is the area where the heaviest rains have already occurred and 
additional heavy rain is expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
