The National Weather Service in San Juan has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Naguabo County in Puerto Rico...

* Until 800 PM AST.

* At 539 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated moderate to heavy rain 
  across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 inch is possible. Flash 
  flooding is ongoing, linked to Rio Blanco waters. Emergency 
  managers reported that portions of roads PR-31 and PR-191 are 
  impassable, near exist 22 of PR-31 and along PR-191 in Sector 
  Pitina, Bo. Florida.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Rio Santiago, Rio Espiritu Santo, Rio Anton Ruiz, Rio Mameyes, Rio 
  Icacos, Rio Blanco, Bahia Algodones to Ensenada Honda Coastal 
  Watersheds, Rio Gurabo, Rio Fajardo and Rio Cubuy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
