* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Bristol County in southeastern Massachusetts...
  Bristol County in Rhode Island...
  Northeastern Kent County in Rhode Island...
  Southeastern Providence County in Rhode Island...

* Until 645 PM EDT.

* At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms 
  over the northern portion of Narragansett Bay moving onshore, 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain 
  has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 inch in 1 hour. 
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Rapid rises on small creeks and streams, as well as
           flash flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and
           underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-
           lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Providence, Warwick, Cranston, East Providence, West Warwick, 
  Johnston, Bristol, Barrington, Swansea, Seekonk, Rehoboth and 
  Warren.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
