the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Spartanburg County in upstate South Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EST.

* At 421 PM EST, After a 4 to 5 inch rain event across Spartanburg 
  County, many locations remain flooded, and river gages along the 
  Pacolet and Tyger Rivers and Lawsons Fork Creek are still rising 
  or cresting above flood stage.  Remain wary of lingering and/or 
  renewed flooding into the early evening hours countywide.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Gauges reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
