The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Atascosa County in south central Texas...
  Northern Frio County in south central Texas...
  Southeastern Medina County in south central Texas...

* Until 700 AM CDT.

* At 505 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that thunderstorms 
  previously produced heavy rain across the warned area. Light to 
  occasional moderate rain continues to fall within the warned area. 
  Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall 
  amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flooding 
  was reported in Lytle at several locations.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Pleasanton, Devine, Poteet, Lytle, Natalia, Moore, Bigfoot, 
  Yancey, Frio Town, Leming, Three Oaks, Kyote, Iuka, Rossville, 
  Amphion and Espey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
