* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Jefferson County in southeastern Texas...
  Orange County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 440 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  ongoing flooding from rainfall between 2 and 5 inches of rain that 
  has fallen.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Nederland, Port Neches, Vidor, 
  Bridge City, West Orange, Rose City, Pine Forest and Orangefield.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
