The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  South Central Webb County in south central Texas...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 325 PM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain across 
  the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. 
  Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the 
  warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing. Manadas Creek is 
  overflowing into Finley Elementary school parking.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Laredo, Laredo Country Club, Laredo International Airport, Doctors 
  Hospital Of Laredo, Texas A&M, St Augustine High School South 
  Laredo, Laredo Community College and Orvil.

This includes the following streams and drainages...
  Sombrerito Creek, Cuervo Creek, Chacon Creek and Grande, Rio.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
