* Flash Flood Warning for...
  East Central Fluvanna County in central Virginia...
  Northwestern Goochland County in central Virginia...
  Northwestern Hanover County in central Virginia...
  Northeastern Louisa County in central Virginia...

* Until 200 AM EDT.

* At 1157 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heaviest rain has 
  ended across the area. However, up to 3 inches of rain have fallen 
  this evening. Even Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Mineral, Palmyra, Ferncliff, Kents Store, Bumpass, Yanceyville, 
  Cuckoo, Apple Grove, Pendleton, Tabscott, Fredericks Hall, 
  Caledonia, Wilmington and Carysbrook.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
