Heavy rains have ended and rivers along the Norton Sound coast are
expected to continue falling. Additionally, high surf and elevated
water at the coast is also falling and will allow rivers to drain
normally.

The Flood Watch had been cancelled for 

*The Snake, Nome, Niukluk and other rivers draining into Norton
 Sound as well as all rivers in the Eastern Norton Sound and
 Nulato Hills including the Shaktoolik and Unalakleet Rivers

*Continue to remain vigilant for any remaining areas of high
