...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be 
  possible.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest California, including the following 
  areas, Los Angeles County Beaches, Los Angeles County Inland Coast 
  including Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Mountains, Los 
  Angeles County San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles County San Gabriel 
  Valley, Malibu Coast, Santa Clarita Valley and Santa Monica 
  Mountains.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms will continue
    through this afternoon. Some of these showers and
    thunderstorms may produce briefly intense rainfall rates,
    increasing the risk of flooding.
