  Walker River Near Schurz affecting Mineral County

River forecasts for the Walker River near Mason and Wabuska are lower
than previously forecast. This is due to more precise forecasting and
reservoir management enabled by emergency USGS river gage installation,
slower snowmelt response than initially forecast, and slight changes to
the temperature forecasts. A new watch may be issued if needed at a later date.
