...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 AM CST EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following 
  counties, Barbour, Bullock and Pike.

* WHEN...Until 330 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1235 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Troy, Eufaula, Brundidge, Clio, Goshen, Clayton, Louisville,
    Banks, Blue Springs, Boot Hill, Tyler Crossroads, Pickett,
    Doster, Blue Springs State Park, Texasville, Barbour County
    Public Lake Dam, Linwood, Antioch, Gaino and White Oak.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
