...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Florida, including the following 
  county, Citrus.

* WHEN...Until 730 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 557 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Homosassa Springs, Beverly Hills, Crystal River Airport,
    Black Diamond, Homosassa, Hernando, Crystal Oaks, Pine Ridge,
    Green Acres, Lecanto, Brent Wood, Citronelle, Citrus Hills,
    Citrus Springs, Arbor Lakes and River Lakes Manor.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
