...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and west central Florida, including 
  the following counties, in central Florida, Sumter. In west 
  central Florida, Hernando and Pasco.

* WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 344 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Wildwood, Dade City, Bushnell, Hill n Dale, Lake Panasoffkee,
    Ridge Manor, Center Hill, Webster, Coleman, Croom, Lacoochee,
    Spring Lake, Tarrytown, Blanton, Wahoo, Dade City North,
    Darby, Sumterville, Masaryktown and Adamsville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
