...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Iowa, including the following 
  county, Van Buren.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is occurring. Expect some areas of slow 
  moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 802 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the
    warned area. Flooding is already occurring. There was also a
    trained spotter report of water over Jersey Avenue between
    Cantril and Mt. Sterling along the Fox River.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cantril and Mount Sterling.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
