...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Indiana, including the following 
  counties, Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Madison and Marion.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 807 PM EDT, Doppler radar and rainfall measurements
    indicated between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
    Reports of flooding have been received.
  - Some locations that will continue to experience flooding
    include...
    Indianapolis, Anderson, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville,
    Lawrence, Speedway, Westfield, Cicero, McCordsville,
    Pendleton, Fortville, Chesterfield, Ingalls, Lapel, Edgewood,
    Meridian Hills, Rocky Ripple, Markleville and Williams Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
