...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Louisiana, including the following 
  parishes, Franklin, Morehouse, Richland and West Carroll.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads 
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 917 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
    the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly. Between 4 and 8 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Bastrop, Winnsboro, Rayville, Mangham, Start, Delhi, Oak
    Grove, Wisner, Holly Ridge, Warden, Archibald, Alto, Bakers,
    Goodwill, Darnell, Crowville, Galion, Buckner, Beekman and
    Liddieville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
