...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM CDT EARLY THIS 
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following 
  parishes, Ascension, Assumption, Iberville, St. James and St. John 
  The Baptist.

* WHEN...Until 430 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 247 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in
    the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
    begin shortly. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Donaldsonville, Napoleonville, Gramercy, Lutcher, Convent,
    Belle Rose, Paincourtville, North Vacherie, Wallace and
    Garyville.
  - This includes the follwing Interstate...
    Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 192 and 197.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
