...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following 
  counties, Arenac and Gladwin.

* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 642 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy
    rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in
    isolated areas.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Alger, Gladwin, Standish, Au Gres, Sterling, Maple Ridge,
    Beaverton, Omer, Twining, Turner, Rhodes, Wooden Shoe Village
    and Winegars.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
