  Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Chippewa...Lac qui Parle 
  and Yellow Medicine Counties 
  Minnesota River At Morton  affecting Redwood and Renville Counties
  
  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Dakota...Hennepin and Scott 
  Counties 
  Mississippi River near Hastings L/D 2 affecting Dakota...
  Washington and Pierce Counties 
  Rum River near St. Francis affecting Anoka County 

.Overview...Relatively dry weather over the next several days will 
allow for area rivers to fall in height. There is potential for a 
stronger storm system in our region late this weekend, however too 
much forecast uncertainty currently exists. We will continue to 
monitor the forecast for the latest updates.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive cars through flooded areas.  Turn Around...Don't Drown.

* At  8:45 AM Wednesday the stage was 8.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will crest below flood stage at 8.9 feet 
  Friday morning.
