...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Mississippi including the 
  following counties, Copiah, Lawrence, and Lincoln.

* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water 
  crossings may be inundated with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 235 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the warned area. Between 4 and 9 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Hazlehurst, Wesson, Monticello, Oma, Sontag, Rockport,
    Wanilla, Martinsville, Hopewell, New Hebron, Beauregard,
    Georgetown and Silver Creek.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
