...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM MDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Montana, including the following 
  counties, Richland and Roosevelt.

* WHEN...Until 145 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 940 PM MDT, the public reported heavy rain in the advisory
    area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already
    occurring. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sidney, Culbertson, Fairview, Bainville, Froid, Nohly,
    Snowden, Fort Union, Wooley, Mccabe, Crane and Midway.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
