...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 745 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 745 PM EDT this evening for a 
portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas, 
Anson, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond and Stanly.

While some light rain continues, the heavy rain has ended. Flooding 
is no longer expected to pose a threat. However, there may be some 
lingering ponding of water on area roadways and rivers, creeks, and 
streams may still be running high. Please continue to heed remaining 
road closures.
