...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the 
  following counties, Franklin, Granville, Vance and Warren.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1031 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in Cedar Creek. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Cedar Creek is the most likely place to experience minor
    flooding.
    Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Warrenton, Butner, Norlina,
    Kittrell, Stem, Stovall, Middleburg, Dabney, South Henderson,
    Gillburg, Satterwhite Point Marina, Steele Creek Marina &
    Campground, Tungsten, Bullocksville, Kerr Lake, Drewry and
    Afton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
