...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania, including the following 
  counties, Cambria, Clearfield and Somerset.

* WHEN...Until 100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1132 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1 inches is expected over the
    area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Johnstown, DuBois, Somerset, Clearfield, Westmont, Windber,
    Ebensburg, Belmont, Nanty-Glo, Portage, Sandy, Northern
    Cambria, Philipsburg, Woodland, Curwensville, Geistown,
    Southmont, Meyersdale, Berlin and Patton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
