...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south central South Dakota, including the 
  following counties, Mellette and Todd.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 613 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated rain was diminishing
    across the area. Heavy rain overnight produced between 2 and
    3 inches of rain, with local amounts around 4 inches. Minor
    flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
    advisory area.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.25 inches are
    expected over the area this morning.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    White River, Swift Bear, Horse Creek, Soldier Creek, and the
    northern Rosebud Reservation.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
