...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following 
  counties, Bedford, Cannon, Coffee, Cumberland, De Kalb, Grundy, 
  Marshall, Maury, Rutherford, Van Buren, Warren, White, Williamson 
  and Wilson.

* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. River or 
  stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 650 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing in the advisory
    area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Murfreesboro, Franklin, Shelbyville, McMinnville, Manchester,
    Sparta, Smithville, Woodbury, Spencer, Smyrna, La Vergne,
    Spring Hill, Tullahoma, Nolensville, Thompson's Station,
    Gruetli-Laager, Tracy City, Walterhill, Chapel Hill and
    Altamont.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
