Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall. && LAT...LON 3029 9961 3029 9930 3050 9930 3050 9896 3092 9896 3092 9842 3093 9842 3095 9845 3096 9845 3103 9844 3103 9824 3067 9848 2986 9917 2963 9960 2963 9986 2972 9977 $$ BRADY
