...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Coke and Sterling.

* WHEN...Until 245 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1242 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream
    flooding. Up to 2 inches of rain will be possible in parts of
    the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Robert Lee, Sterling City, Blackwell, Broome, Silver, E.V.
    Spence Reservoir Near Paint Creek Recreation Area, Sanco and
    The Intersection Of Highway 158 And Ranch Road 2059.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Ross Rd. crossing Bouzier Creek, Hamilton crossing, Graham
    Valley crossing, Walnut crossing Little Walnut Creek, Walnut
    crossing Walnut Creek, Fields crossing, Collier crossing,
    Hurley crossing, Sanco crossing Yellow Wolf Creek and Arledge
    crossing Yellow Wolf Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
