...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  county, Runnels.

* WHEN...Until 600 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 502 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms near Wingate and Pumphrey. These storms are
    moving southeast at 20 mph towards stationary thunderstorms
    over and west of Winters. This will cause arroyo and small
    stream flooding. Up to 1.25 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.25 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Winters, Hatchel, Norton, Crews, Benoit, Wingate, Lake
    Winters Lake, Pumphrey, Drasco, Ballinger Lake and Wilmeth.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    FM 0383 crossing Quarry Creek, crossings along County Road
    227, crossings along County Road 205, County Road 328
    crossing Big Coyote Creek, County Road 322 crossing Big
    Coyote Creek, County Road 314 crossing Bluff Creek, crossings
    along County Road 328, crossings along County Road 201,
    crossings along County Road 195 and crossings along County
    Road 226.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
