...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of south Texas, including the following 
  counties, Aransas, Calhoun, Refugio and Victoria.

* WHEN...Until 900 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 705 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Victoria, Port Lavaca, Seadrift, McFaddin, Guadalupe, Point
    Comfort, Green Lake, Placedo, Bloomington, Long Mott,
    Dacosta, Tivoli, Wood Hi, Alamo Beach, Magnolia Beach,
    Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, Telferner, Brentwood
    Subdivision, Victoria Regional Airport and Victoria Colony
    Creek Country Club.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
