...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southwest Texas and western Texas, including 
  the following counties, in southwest Texas, Pecos. In western 
  Texas, Crane and Ward.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 621 PM CDT, Trained weather spotters reported heavy rain
    in the advisory area due to thunderstorms with amounts to
    near 2 inches. Minor flooding is already occurring. radar
    estimates that between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen
    across the area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Fort Stockton, Grandfalls, Fort Stockton-Pecos County
    Airport, Imperial Reservoir, Imperial, Firestone Test Track,
    Coyanosa, Royalty, Cordona Lake, Girvin and Sierra Madera.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
