...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SUNDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
SUNDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...South winds 45 to 55 mph with gusts up to 75 mph 
  expected.

* WHERE...In Colorado, Roan and Tavaputs Plateaus and 
  Uncompahgre Plateau and Dallas Divide. In Utah, Tavaputs 
  Plateau and La Sal and Abajo Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Sunday to midnight MDT Sunday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may blow down trees and power lines.
  Power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially
  for high profile vehicles.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around
trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of
your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if
you must drive.

People, especially those with respiratory illnesses, heart
disease, the elderly, and children are recommended to stay
indoors and avoid prolonged outdoor exercise or heavy exertion
due to wind-blown dust.
