...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures of 30 to 32 are expected.

* WHERE...The foothills and northwest Piedmont of North Carolina.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM EDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other 
  sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor 
  plumbing.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. In-ground 
sprinkler systems should be drained. Remove hoses and cover above- 
ground pipes.
