...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 PM EDT
FOR HUDSON...SOUTHEASTERN UNION...RICHMOND AND KINGS COUNTIES...

At 300 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Port Richmond,
or over Bayonne, moving north at 20 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind 
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Elizabeth, Bayonne, Linden, Coney Island, Todt Hill, The Verrazano
Narrows Bridge, Bay Ridge, Port Richmond, Tompkinsville, Bensonhurst,
Oakwood, Annadale, New Dorp, Grasmere, and Heartland Village.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
