...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CHEROKEE...NORTHEASTERN POLK...SOUTH CENTRAL BLOUNT
AND SOUTHEASTERN MONROE COUNTIES...

At 1120 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest
of Town Of Santeetlah, or 11 miles northwest of Robbinsville, moving
east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Hiawasse Dam, Violet, Marble, Citico, Unaka, and Deals Gap.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for east
Tennessee. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 400 AM EDT
for southwestern North Carolina...and east Tennessee.
