...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN CLAIBORNE...CAMPBELL AND NORTHWESTERN UNION
COUNTIES...

At 139 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lot, or 10
miles north of La Follette, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
La Follette, Jacksboro, Jellico, Caryville, Elk Valley, Cumberland
Gap, Sharps Chapel, Indian Mountain State Park, Clairfield, and
Fincastle.

This includes Interstate 75 in Tennessee between mile markers 138 and
161.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 PM EDT for east
Tennessee.

This is a DANGEROUS SITUATION. This storm has produced widespread 
wind damage across Scott County. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy 
structure and stay away from windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
