* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 455 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing 
  waterspouts and wind gusts up to 45 knots were located along a 
  line extending from 7 nm south of Castle Danger, to 8 nm southeast 
  of Knife River Marina, to 6 nm east of Superior Harbor, moving 
  east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

  Sand Island, Bayfield Peninsula Sea Caves, Siskwit Bay Harbor, and

  Sand Bay and York Island around 525 PM CDT.
  Raspberry Island Lighthouse around 530 PM CDT.
  Devils Island around 535 PM CDT.
  Red Cliff around 540 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by severe thunderstorms include Stockton
Island, Apostle Islands National Lake Shore, Brule Point, and Outer
Island.

expected.
