* Special Marine Warning for...
  Lake Superior from Saxon Harbor WI to Upper Entrance to Portage
  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
  Royale National Park...
  Ontonagon to Upper Entrance of Portage Canal MI...

* Until 430 PM EDT.

* At 353 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 29 nm southwest of The Upper Entrance of
  Portage Canal, or 36 nm southeast of The Western Lake Superior
  Buoy, moving northeast at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small 
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.
