* Special Marine Warning for...
  Northern Lynn Canal...

* Until 445 PM AKDT.

* At 343 PM AKDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 nm south of
  Eldred Rock, moving north at 15 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater from the south.

  SOURCE...Satellite imagery.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be overturned in higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Eldred Rock and Point Sherman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Periodic lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the 
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded 
metal objects.
